Be Happy With More Mental Flexibility

We feel good when we strive to be happy. So, how do you find out what makes you unhappy?

Since we create our own reality, each of us then can discover what makes him/her unhappy, and turn the situation in his/her favor.

Let me make an example: You want to celebrate your anniversary. Experience from previous years tells you that your partner usually forgets that date. If you wait and hope your partner will remember it this year and then complain if he (let’s be honest, women usually are not the ones to forget their anniversary:)) once again has forgotten it, the day will be lost. Perhaps after that you feel unhappy but unfortunately, you've allowed it to happen yourself. It is much better that you, like a captain his ship, manage your own life.

Share joy instead of a surprise. If you know from experience that your partner or friend will forget an important event, it is better for you two then to plan the event together and together be delighted about it in advance.

"Magic" language. Select an entirely new style of communication visual language. Find photos, for example from newspapers that express the event you want to throw. They should be selected in a way they get the other person into good mood. It would be wrong to choose the photos that criticize the other side.

More mental flexibility. Strengthen your mental flexibility because something that is flexible cannot easily be broken. Try, for example, to break a rubber band. You will see it is almost impossible. The same is true with our souls. The more flexible your conduct is, the less vulnerable your soul is, and this is an important factor in your mental health.
