Love You Children and Help Them Grow Into Beautiful Human Beings

Everybody wishes he/she could reach his/her full potential, shake off his/her fears, limiting beliefs and inhibitions and step into the feelings of confidence and empowerment that can only come from deeply knowing oneself. However, that’s not something one can achieve overnight and before we know we become parents and have to take care not only of our own well-being but of our kids’ as well. That is when many of us start questioning our ability to raise new human beings to this world. However, let me tell you something: we all have that ability because the key ingredient in raising our kids is LOVE. If we always come from the place of love, we don’t have to worry about raising happy and healthy individuals.

So, how’s that love manifesting in our behavior towards our children?

In giving recognition and praise Help your child to develop a good personal attitude. When you see a behavior that you like, praise the child, even if that’s someone else’s child. This is good especially if your child is present, so she/he can see what desirable and preferable behavior looks like. Your child doesn’t have to learn only from his/her own behavior.

In giving attention and warmth Each person - especially a child - needs the attention and warmth. Attention is revealed through the appreciation and warmth through affection. These lead to increase of self-confidence, self-assurance and personal opinion of a child about himself/herself.

In being thoughtful and tactful Think that children, for any reason of their own, may be under stress as well. Children learn tact and thoughtfulness from adults’ behavior. The best way for the children to learn thoughtfulness is if their parents remind them constantly what are all the things they wish for them. This all keeps a positive attitude, provides inner peace and tranquility to both children and parents.

In consolation and advice For a healthy mental state of your child it is important to initiate experience that will give the child confidence, encourage him/her and give him/her comfort and support. The more of these feelings is initiated in childhood; the better is the development of these abilities in a child, who will be able to use them more easily when he/she grows up.

In sympathizing with your children Show an interest in the feelings and experiences of your children; try to find out what they think and what they feel. Try to see the world through their eyes, show that you want to understand their inner world. Give each child a sense that she/he is an important being on this planet.
